Eco-Tourism Trails

Eco-Tourism Torch Points are remarkable treasures within the community, offering visitors a chance to see, enjoy, listen to, and interact with the local environment. In the Pearls of Africa, every site is an attraction. These Torch Points are sequentially numbered to represent the historical progression of development, such as 1M98/001 for the Nyundo Valley Hill Links Tourism Torch Point.

The Brief Description of the Eco-Tourism Trails of ACTREC

This is a unique kind of canopy in a unique location, where there is always a cool wave of breeze even at peaks of hot seasons. Having a cup of coffee in this quiet, cool environment is so conducive for an independent retreat over a puzzle that requires the highest concentration. Residents are not charged for this canopy when they use it.

They identified as a Tourism Torch Point and their determination to fight Climate Change rhyme well with ACTREC’s objectives thus an Implementing Partner of the Recovery Plan.

Visit the Pangolin Conservation and Rescue Tourism Torch Point. A Community initiative led by Mr. Moses B. aimed at conserving and rescuing this endangered animal and Girls Hope foundation where girls and young women are skilled in Tailoring Craft making, Agriculture especially fruits and vegetables which are nutritious and delicious to feed their children.

Now Africa is an NGO majoring in Development through Agriculture especially Coffee growing, processing and packing. The Community members have been trained in Organic practices of farming and Agriculture. They use organic manure, pick only ripe berries, dry them in solar houses bring them to a modern processing factory for hulling. The community members themselves are trained on how to crash blend and make coffee themselves for drinking.
